PCoIP Administrator's Guide Parameter Description continues to refine the image in the background until it reaches a fully lossless state. Stopping the build process when the image reaches the "perceptually lossless" stage can deliver significant bandwidth savings. If you have any questions about this field setting, contact Teradici Support. Note: There is no Disable Build to Lossless setting on the OSD as it is an administrator-only parameter. This setting does not work in PCoIP sessions with VMware View virtual desktops running release 5.0 or earlier. 4.12 Enabling the Host Driver Function The Host Driver Function page lets you enable or disable the host driver function on the host computer. Note: The Host Driver Function page is only available on the host Administrative Web Interface. It is not available on the client. Figure 4-45: Administrative Web Interface Host Driver Function Page After installing the PCoIP host software on the host computer, you must check the Enable Host Driver Function option from the host AWI before you can access the PCoIP host software on the host computer. The PCoIP host software gives you access to the following enhanced features on the host computer: l Host PC lock when a session is terminated l Local cursor and keyboard l Network interface for Wake on LAN function l Host and client network parameters view l Session statistics view l Update of the host topology settings with the client settings TER0606004 Issue 16 94
