9. Remove the three screws (1) securing the hard drive bracket to the chassis. 10. Slide the hard drive bracket (2) toward the front of the chassis until it stops and the tab on the inside edge of the bracket can be lifted clear of the retaining screw in the chassis. Lift the bracket out of the chassis. 11. If the hard drive bracket does not contain a hard drive, go to step 13. 12. If the hard drive bracket contains a hard drive: a. Remove the four screws (1) from the sides of the bracket. b. Slide the hard drive (2) out of the bracket. c. If a new hard drive is to be installed now, go to step 14. 30 Chapter 3 Hardware changes

Slide the hard drive (2) out of the bracket.
