4. TROUBLESHOOTING If a minor problem occurs, it usually can be solved quite easily when the cause is found by using the checklist below. Any other servicing should be done by an authorized service representative. ! WARNING ! To reduce risk of personal injury - unplug cleaner before servicing. PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE Cleaner won't run Not firmly plugged in. POSSIBLE SOLUTION Plug unit in firmly. No voltage in wall plug. Blown fuse or tripped breaker. Thermal protector activated. Check fuse or breaker. Replace fuse or reset breaker. Allow cleaner to cool for 30 minutes (this will reset the thermal protector). Agitator brushes Custom Control™ switch set Set switch to carpet position. aren't turning on bare floor position. Agitator is obstructed. Clear obstruction.
