Smart Features Digital Car Key Digital Car Key Your device can now be used to open and start your car. You can also share and revoke digital car keys at any time to minimise security risks. The digital key data is saved in the security chip of the device, meaning it cannot be stolen or copied. Even if your device powers off due to low battery, it can still be used to open and start your car within 24 hours of shutdown. 1 Download the vehicle manufacturer's app on your device, such as My Audi, then activate the car key on your device with the help of the customer service personnel of the vehicle manufacturer or authorised car dealership. 2 On your device, go to Settings > More connections > NFC, open NFC, then set the vehicle manufacturer's app as the Default app. 3 To unlock your car, hold the NFC area (located by the rear camera) of your device near the car door handle. 4 To start your car, place your device in the wireless charging shelf and press the start button on the car. Once your car has started, you can remove your device from the wireless charging shelf. 5 To lock your car, close the door when you get out, then hold the NFC area of your device near the car door handle. 46

Download the vehicle manufacturer's app on your device, such as My Audi, then activate

On your device, go to
