CONTROLS Parking Brake The parking brake is found on the left of the machine. Pull the lever backward to activate the brake and push forward to release it. IMPORTANT INFORMATION The machine must stand absolutely still when applying the parking brake. Always set the parking brake before dismounting. Release the parking brake before moving the mower. Parking brake Throttle Control The throttle control regulates the engine speed and thereby the rate of rotation of the blades, assuming the blade switch is pulled out, see Engaging the Mower Deck. To increase or decrease the engine speed, the control is moved forward or back respectively. Avoid idling the engine for long periods, as there is a risk of fouling the spark plugs. USE FULL THROTTLE WHEN MOWING, for best mower performance and battery charging. Throttle control Blade Switch To engage the mower deck blades, pull the knob up; the mower blades are disengaged when the knob is pushed down. Blade switch 8058-210 08058-145 8058-145 19
