Canceling a Print Job The procedure to cancel a print job depends on the printer interface. See your system administrator for additional information. note The Cancel key is not active during View and Eject/Restore operations. To cancel a print job, choose one of the following steps: • For printers using a coax interface, in non-SCS mode*: The Cancel key is not active. Use the host system to cancel a print job. • For printers using a coax interface, in SCS mode *: a. Press Stop to place the printer in NOT READY state. b. Press Cancel to clear the printer buffer. This sends a cancel status message to the host, which clears the print job when the printer is returned to the READY state. (When Cancel is pressed, "059 CANCEL PRINT ACTIVE" is displayed.)
