INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS NS-FDRE44W1/NS-FDRE44W1-C # ITEM DESCRIPTION Damp Alert Press to turn the Damp Alert function on or off. An iron indicator appears on the right side of the display. The dryer beeps for 10 seconds when the moisture in the clothes is ideal for ironing. At this time, you can take those garments out and 8 continue drying the remaining clothes by pressing Start/Pause. Note: The dryer will not stop drying if you don't take garments out. Cycle selector Turn the knob to select the ideal cycle for your type of load. The cycle you select determines the heat control for the cycle. Normal, Jeans, Perm Press, Quick Dry, My Cycle, Mixed Load, 9 Heavy Duty, Bulky, Towels, Active Wear, Delicates, and Sanitize are Sensor cycles. Your cycle's drying time is determined by the moisture in your clothes. Wool, Air Fluff, Time Dry, and Refresh are Manual cycles. Start/Pause Press to start or pause the program. The cycle time shows how long until your dryer starts running. Child lock 2 indicator Displays when the child lock is turned on. Press (signal) and Damp Alert together for three seconds to turn the child lock function on or off. Empty lint filter Appears when the lint filter needs to be cleaned. See 3 indicator "Cleaning the lint filters" on page 35 for more information. Damp Alert
Press to turn the Damp Alert function on or off. An
iron
indicator appears on the right side of the display. The dryer
beeps for 10 seconds when the moisture in the clothes is ideal
for ironing. At this time, you can take those garments out and

Note

Cycle selector
Turn the knob to select the ideal cycle for your type of load. The
cycle you select determines the heat control for the cycle.
Normal, Jeans, Perm Press, Quick Dry, My Cycle, Mixed Load,
Heavy Duty, Bulky, Towels, Active Wear, Delicates, and Sanitize
are Sensor cycles. Your cycle’s drying time is determined by the
moisture in your clothes.
Wool, Air Fluff, Time Dry, and Refresh are Manual cycles.
