Hardware Installations and Upgrades Removing and Installing the Front Bezel Assembly The DP, WS, and BRP configurations of the Entry Server Chassis SC5295-E ship with a two-piece front bezel assembly. The UP configuration ships with a one-piece bezel assembly. Both front bezel assemblies are removed and installed in the same manner. Removing the Front Bezel Assembly Note: The following figure uses the two-piece front bezel assembly for illustrative purposes. The one-piece bezel assembly is removed in the same manner. 1. Observe the safety and ESD precautions listed in Appendix A, "Safety Information". 2. Turn off all peripheral devices connected to the server. Turn off the server. 3. Disconnect the AC power cord. 4. Remove the left side cover. For instructions, see "Removing the Left Side Cover". 5. Disengage the two bezel tabs from the left side of the chassis (see letter "A" in the following figure). Rotate the left side of the front bezel assembly outward slightly (see letter "B"). Disengage the three clips that attach the right side of the front bezel assembly to the chassis and remove (see letter "C"). C A C C A B TP00560 Figure 11. Removing and Installing the Front Bezel Assembly
The DP, WS, and BRP configurations of the Entry Server Chassis SC5295-E ship with a
two-piece front bezel assembly. The UP configuration ships with a one-piece bezel
assembly. Both front bezel assemblies are removed and installed in the same manner.
Removing the Front Bezel Assembly
Note:
The following figure uses the two-piece front bezel assembly for illustrative purposes. The
one-piece bezel assembly is removed in the same manner.

Observe the safety and ESD precautions listed in
Appendix A, “Safety Information”

2.
Turn off all peripheral devices connected to the server. Turn off the server.
3.
Disconnect the AC power cord.
4.
Remove the left side cover. For instructions, see
“Removing the Left Side Cover”
.
5.
Disengage the two bezel tabs from the left side of the chassis (see letter “A” in the
following figure). Rotate the left side of the front bezel assembly outward slightly (see
letter “B”). Disengage the three clips that attach the right side of the front bezel
assembly to the chassis and remove (see letter “C”).
