Hardware Installations and Upgrades Installing the Processor Air Ducts Note: The following procedure is not applicable to the UP configuration of the Entry Server Chassis SC5295-E. The processor air duct on the UP configuration is built into the left side cover. Installation of the left side cover will also install the attached ductwork. Note: Placement of processor air ducts will differ depending upon the server board installed. Note: Installation of the small processor air duct is only required if you have an Intel® Server Board SE7320EP2 or SE7525RP2 installed. Warning: DO NOT operate the Entry Server Chassis SC5295-E without the processor air ducts in place. The processor air ducts are required for proper airflow within the chassis. 1. Lower the large processor air duct (labeled "Part A) into the chassis and line it up with the two mounting holes in chassis. Secure the large processor air duct to the chassis with two mounting screws. TP01137 Figure 15. Installing the Processor Air Ducts
Note:
The following procedure is not applicable to the UP configuration of the Entry Server
Chassis SC5295-E. The processor air duct on the UP configuration is built into the left
side cover. Installation of the left side cover will also install the attached ductwork.
Note:
Placement of processor air ducts will differ depending upon the server board installed.
Note:
Installation of the small processor air duct is only required if you have an Intel
®
Server
Board SE7320EP2 or SE7525RP2 installed.
Warning:
