An alert box appears telling you that you must save your settings and reboot the computer for the new security choice to take effect. 4 Tap Yes. The computer resets and starts with Microsoft Security as the Security Choice. Configure WPA or WPA2 Enterprise (802.1x) Security With Microsoft Use these procedures to set WPA-802.1x security on your computer with Microsoft security. 1 Make sure the communications and radio parameters on your computer are configured. 2 Tap Start > Control Panel. The Control Panel appears. 3 In the View by: drop-down menu, select either Large or Small icons. 4 Tap Network and Sharing Center > Manage Wireless Networks. 5 Select the wireless connection you want to configure and tap the Security tab. 6 For Security type, choose WPA-Enterprise or WPA2-Enterprise and select TKIP or AES. The Encryption type automatically defaults to AES. 7 In the Choose a network authentication method, choose either LEAP, EAP-FAST, PEAP, or Smart Card or other certificate. 8 If you choose LEAP: a Tap Settings. The Properties screen appears. b Enter a User Name and a Password. When you are finished, type in your password again in Confirm Password. c Tap OK to exit the Properties screen. d Tap OK again to save the Microsoft Security Settings. Microsoft
Use these procedures to set WPA-802.1x security on your computer
with Microsoft security.

Make sure the communications and radio parameters on your
computer are configured.

Tap
Start > Control Panel
. The Control Panel appears.

In the
View by:
drop-down menu, select either
Large
or
Small
icons.

Tap
Network and Sharing Center > Manage Wireless
Networks
.

Select the wireless connection you want to configure and tap the
Security
tab.

For
Security type
, choose
WPA-Enterprise
or
WPA2-Enterprise
and select
TKIP
or
AES
. The Encryption type automatically
