ENGLISH Menus Settings: [ ] = Factory-preset BASIC SETTINGS Select [BASIC SETTINGS], then select sub-menus. a OPERATION SOUND Turns the operation sound on/off. OFF: Turns off the operation sound. [ON]: The melody sounds when any operation is performed.  SELECT TV TYPE Enables you to select the TV type when watching files recorded on the camera on TV. 4:3 TV / [16:9 TV]  AUTO POWER OFF If the camera is not operated for 5 minutes while the power is on, it turns itself off automatically to conserve power. OFF: Disables the function. [ON]: Activates the function. To turn the camera on again, close the LCD monitor and open it again when using the battery pack. When using the AC adapter, perform any operation such as zooming.  DISPLAY ON TV Displays the camera's on-screen display on TV. [OFF]: Does not display on TV. ON: Displays on TV. NOTE This setting is available only if the TV is connected with the AV/S-Video cables. If connected with a DV cable, camera's on-screen display can not be displayed on TV. ; FACTORY PRESET Returns all the camera settings to their default values. YES: Performs the function. NO: Cancels the function.  CLOCK ADJUST Enables you to set the time. (੬ pg. 17) DATE / TIME  VIDEO NO. RESET  IMAGE NO. RESET By resetting the file number (name), a new folder will be made. The new files will be stored in the new folder. It is convenient to separate the new files from previously recorded files. YES: Performs reset. NO: Cancels reset. FORMAT SD CARD You have to format newly purchased microSD cards with this camera before using them. This will also ensure stable speeds and operation when accessing the microSD card. [FILE]: Initializes all files in the microSD card. FILE + MANAGEMNET NO: Initializes all files and management numbers in the microSD card.  FORMAT HDD This will ensure stable speeds and operation when accessing the hard disk drive. [FILE]: Initializes all files in the hard disk drive.
