Disc search (DISC SEARCH mode) (Player A only) Disc search (MUSIC TYPE mode) (Player-A only) 36 Preparation ÷ Close the disc door. & ÷ Input the title. º ÷ Check that the Player A is in the normal play TRACK mode. ) Although all operations can be controlled from both the 10key Remote and Keyboard remote control units, do not change the remote control unit in the middle of operation such as character input. SET SET DISPLAY-A : When initial letter "A" is selected. ESEARCHC?M ÷ The initial letters of disc titles are searched insensitively to the uppercase and lowercase. ÷ Lowercase characters cannot be input in the CHARAC. SEARCH mode. Keyboard ÷ To input a symbol, press and hold SHIFT while press the desired numeric/symbol button. 10-key Remote Main unit ÷ If a desired character is not provided on the remote control buttons, input the character as follows. Press the CHARACTER (DOWN/UP) buttons or rotating the DISC SKIP knob on the main unit (provided that the OPERATION-A indicator is lit) until the desired character is displayed in the flashing cursor position. Then, press the SET button. ÷ The type of characters (capital letters or numbers/symbols) is switched each time the CHARAC. button is pressed. ÷ The disc titles beginning the specified character will be scrolled in the display. ÷ If there is no disc title beginning with the specified character, "NO ENTRY" will be displayed. To quit CHARAC. SEARCH mode Press the MODE button.
