Chapter 5 : Dual-Zone Capabilities 40 The CD-4900M/DPF-J9030 offers dual-zone output and control, which enables you to use the changer (along with a Kenwood Dual-Zone/Dual-Source compatible receiver) to play 2 discs simultaneously in 2 rooms (or zones). The changer can do this because it includes 2 complete CD players that can each access the full carousel of loaded discs. Each player has its own analog output jacks and cables, and the primary player (output "A") also has a digital output connection. Not all playback features can be used by both players or zones. The following chart shows which playback features are available for each player and/or zone. ÷ Multi-room playback when used with a Kenwood receiver that has Dual-Zone/Dual-Source capability.
