These regulations apply to laser products manufactured after August 1, 1976. Compliance is mandatory for products marketed in the United States. A label indicating compliance with the CDRH regulations must be attached to laser products marketed in the United States. On this machine, the label is on the right. Ozone Concentration The printers generate ozone gas (O3) which may concentrate in the place of installation and cause an unpleasant smell.
