Flip on short edge Basic Color Printer Driver When the document contains blank pages and you do not want to include them in the print job, under Page Description Languages (PDL) > Skip blank pages, select On. To include the blank pages in the print job, select Off or Use layout settings. Duplex also appears in the Quick Print tab. Changes in Quick Print or Basic tabs are reflected in the other tab. An administrator can ensure that all jobs are printed on both sides by selecting Device Settings > Administrator > Lock Settings, and then selecting Duplex. Duplex should be turned on before using Lock Settings. When Duplex is turned off, using Lock Settings makes Duplex unavailable to all users. Printing in Duplex Mode 1 In the Basic tab, click the Flip on long edge or Flip on short edge icon. 2 Click OK in all dialog boxes. With this feature, the following options are available: Full color This mode prints full four-color text and graphics. Auto color With Auto color selected, only black toner is used to print black and grayscale. Black This mode prints with black toner only, suppressing all color settings. Click the icons to change between Full color, Auto color, and Black. Color also appears in the Quick Print tab and in the Imaging tab.
