TROUBLESHOOTING BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE Problem Food does not broil properly in the oven Possible Causes • Oven controls improperly set. • Oven door not closed. • Improper shelf position being used. • Food being cooked in a hot pan. • Cookware not suited for broiling. • Aluminum foil used on the broiling pan and grid has not been fitted properly and slit as recommended. • Oven bottom not securely seated in position.
