Hook Up An Over-The-Air Antenna Connect an off-air antenna. 1 Locate the Antenna/Cable jack on the back of the TV. Connect the antenna that runs from 2 the wall directly to this jack, according to one of the connection diagrams shown to the right. Remove the back of the remote 3 and put in two AA batteries.
