9: Setup Mode: Advanced Settings Security Settings (Option 6) You can change security settings by means of Telnet or serial connections only, not on the Web-Manager. We recommend that you set security over the dedicated network or over the serial setup to prevent eavesdropping. Caution: Disabling both Telnet Setup and Port 77FE will prevent users from accessing the setup menu from the network. Disabling Port 77FE also disables the Web from configuring the device. SNMP Community Name (public): _ The default entry is public. The current value is displayed in parentheses.
