4048-1xx 3-pin and 2-pin connectors removal 1. Remove the controller card cage. See "Controller card cage (with card in place) removal" on page 4-48. 2. Remove the rear cover. See "Rear cover removal" on page 4-15. 3. Unplug the wires on both sides of the connectors. 4. Unsnap connectors and remove toward the controller card side. Printhead removal 1. Open the front cover. 2. Remove the two screws fastening the top cover to the printer frame (A). 3. Open the rear exit tray and remove the upper left and right screws fastening the top cover to the printer frame (B). 4-46 Service Manual

3–pin and 2–pin connectors removal
1.
Remove the controller card cage. See
“Controller card cage
(with card in place) removal” on page 4-48

2.
Remove the rear cover. See
“Rear cover removal” on
page 4-15
.
3.
Unplug the wires on both sides of the connectors.
4.
Unsnap connectors and remove toward the controller card side.
Printhead removal
1.
Open the front cover.
2.
Remove the two screws fastening the top cover to the printer
frame (A).
3.
Open the rear exit tray and remove the upper left and right
screws fastening the top cover to the printer frame (B).
