OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE » MANUAL RELEASE + MAINTENANCE MANUAL RELEASE In case of a power failure, the operator can be disengaged from the gate. With an operator, the release action may sometimes feel stiff/jerky, which is normal and has 1 2 no effect on function. RELEASE 1 Insert the key into the lock. 2 Turn the key counter-clockwise 180°. 3 Turn the release lever counter-clockwise 180°. Operator is in manual mode and the gate can be opened and closed manually. ENGAGE 1 Turn the release lever clockwise 180°. This engages the motor. 1 2 2 Turn the key clockwise 180°. This locks the release lever. 3 Remove the key and store in a safe place. The operator is now engaged. 3 3 MAINTENANCE Disconnect power before servicing. Pick up any debris in the area. Clean the operator as needed. • It is suggested that while at the site voltage readings be taken at the operator. MANUAL RELEASE

RELEASE
Insert the key into the lock.
Turn the key counter-clockwise 180°.
Turn the release lever counter-clockwise 180°.
Operator is in manual mode and the gate can be opened and closed manually.
ENGAGE
Turn the release lever clockwise 180°. This engages the motor.
Turn the key clockwise 180°. This locks the release lever.
Remove the key and store in a safe place.
The operator is now engaged.
MAINTENANCE
NOTES:
