BIOS Setup ▶ USB Controller This item allows you to enable/ disable the USB controller. ▶ Legacy USB Support Set to [Enabled] if you need to use any USB 1.1/2.0 device in the operating system that does not support or have any USB 1.1/2.0 driver installed, such as DOS and SCO Unix. Set to [Disabled] only if you want to use any USB device other than the USB mouse. ▶ Onboard USB 3.0 Controller This item allows you to enable/ disable the onboard USB 3.0 controller. ▶ High-Speed USB Link This item allows you to select the USB 2.0 source chip. Set to [SB] if you like to allocate the USB 2.0 ports to South Bridge. Set to [Standard] the USB 2.0 ports will be allocated to NEC chip. ▶ USB 3.0 Legacy Mode Support Set to [Enabled] if you need to use any USB 1.1/2.0/3.0 device in the operating system that does not support or have any USB 1.1/2.0/3.0 driver installed, such as DOS and SCO Unix. Set to [Disabled] only if you want to use any USB device other than the USB mouse. ▶ Super IO Configuration Press to enter the sub-menu. ▶ Serial Port 0 Configuration Press to enter the sub-menu. ▶ Serial (COM) Port0 This item allows you to enable/ disable the serial port. ▶ Serial (COM) Port0 Settings Select an address and corresponding interrupt for the serial port. 3-8
