BIOS Setup ▶ USB Controller This item allows you to enable/ disable the USB controller. ▶ Legacy USB Support Set to [Enabled] if you need to use any USB 1.1/2.0 device in the operating system that does not support or have any USB 1.1/2.0 driver installed, such as DOS and SCO Unix. Set to [Disabled] only if you want to use any USB device other than the USB mouse. ▶ Onboard USB 3.0 Controller This item allows you to enable/ disable the onboard USB 3.0 controller. ▶ High-Speed USB Link This item allows you to select the USB 2.0 source chip. Set to [SB] if you like to allocate the USB 2.0 ports to South Bridge. Set to [Standard] the USB 2.0 ports will be allocated to NEC chip. ▶ USB 3.0 Legacy Mode Support Set to [Enabled] if you need to use any USB 1.1/2.0/3.0 device in the operating system that does not support or have any USB 1.1/2.0/3.0 driver installed, such as DOS and SCO Unix. Legacy USB Support
Set to [Enabled] ±f you need to use any USB 1.1/2.0 dev±ce ±n the operat±ng system
that does not support or have any USB 1.1/2.0 dr±ver ±nstalled, such as DOS and
SCO Un±x. Set to [D±sabled] only ±f you want to use any USB dev±ce other than the
USB mouse.
Onboard USB 3.0 Controller
Th±s ±tem allows you to enable/ d±sable the onboard USB 3.0 controller.
H±gh-Speed USB L±nk
Th±s ±tem allows you to select the USB 2.0 source ch±p. Set to [SB] ±f you l±ke to
allocate the USB 2.0 ports to South Br±dge. Set to [Standard] the USB 2.0 ports w±ll
be allocated to NEC ch±p.
