An option called RECEIVER will be added to the TV menu. If CINEMA LINK is on, adjustments on the receiver will be shown on the TV screen for a few seconds. Consult the instruction booklet of your TV on how to use the TV menu. The options offered may vary by TV model. Switching the connection • Press CINEMA LINK on or off to switch the connection between the receiver and the TV. yIf the connection is switched on, CINEMA LINK ON is displayed. Note: We recommend switching CINEMA LINK off during recording. This avoids unwanted interruptions due to switching TV functions. If CINEMA LINK is switched on and the TV menu is active, TV MENU is displayed and the menu and sound functions on the receiver are locked. Activating CINEMA LINK • Press CINEMA GO on the remote control. yThe TV sends a play command to the CINEMA LINK DVD player, if present. The DVD player will start playing and the receiver automatically switches to the best CINEMA LINK sound. • If no DVD player is connected or if the DVD player has no disc loaded, the TV will send a play command to the CINEMA LINK video recorder, if present. yThe video recorder will start playing and the audio receiver selects the best CINEMA LINK sound. • If no video recorder source is connected or tape is loaded, the TV will select the last watched TV channel. 18

Switching the connection
Press CINEMA LINK on or off to switch the connection
between the receiver and the TV.

If the connection is switched on,
CINEMA LINK ON
is
displayed.
Note: We recommend switching
CINEMA LINK
off during
recording. This avoids unwanted interruptions due to

If CINEMA LINK is switched on and the TV menu is active,

The TV sends a play command to the CINEMA LINK DVD
player, if present. The DVD player will start playing and the
receiver automatically switches to the best CINEMA LINK
sound.
If no DVD player is connected or if the DVD player has no disc
