3.7 Dialing from the calls list 1. Press CID (Base) and then scroll VOL+ (Base) or VOL- to the entry you want to dial. 2. Toggle the #/PAUSE/FORMAT key to format the dialing number. 3. Pick up the corded base or press on the corded base to dial the displayed number. 3.8 Muting a call 1. During a call, press CLEAR to mute the microphone, so that you can talk to someone else in the room without your caller hearing you. 2. Press CLEAR again to unmute. 3.9 Adding an entry to the phonebook 1. Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or VOL- to select PHONEBOOK. 2.
