Phonebook Recording a Voice Name For a Phonebook Entry You can record a voice name when you create a new phonebook entry, or when you edit a previously stored phonebook entry. This lets you use voice dial to call the number without dialing (see "Voice Dial" on page 91). Note: You cannot record a voice name for an entry stored on a SIM card. Tip: Make your voice recording in a quiet location. Hold the phone about four inches (10 centimeters) from your mouth, and speak directly into the phone's microphone in a normal tone of voice. Find the Feature M > Phonebook Do This 1 Press S 2 Press VIEW (+) 3 Press EDIT (+) 4 Press S 5 Press RECORD (+) To scroll to the entry that needs a voice name display the entry's detailed view edit the phonebook entry scroll to Voice Name begin the recording process The phone displays Press Voice Key then say name. 89
