Digital Entertainer Model EVA700 User Manual Connecting the Digital Entertainer If you are using a Windows XP computer without Intel® Viiv™ technology, connect the digital entertainer first, and install the software as explained in "Windows XP Computer Without Intel® Viiv™ Technology" on page 1-8. If you are using an Intel® Viiv™ technology, then you must update the software before you connect the digital entertainer. See Chapter 2, "Intel® Viiv™ Technology". The digital entertainer is compatible with the following types of video and audio cables: • Video cable and Audio cable: These two cables are included, and are compatible with most televisions in the U.S. • SCART: This cable is often used in Europe and Australia, and is not included in the package. However, if you have a SCART cable the digital entertainer recognizes it, and you can continue to use these instructions. • S-Video, or Component Video: These cables are not included in the package, and you will need to change the digital entertainer settings in order to use them. Connecting the Digital Entertainer
If you are using a Windows XP computer without Intel® Viiv™ technology,
connect the digital entertainer first, and install the software as explained in
“Windows XP Computer Without Intel® Viiv™ Technology” on page 1-8.
If you are using an Intel® Viiv™ technology, then you must update the software
before
you connect the digital entertainer. See Chapter 2, “Intel® Viiv™
Technology”.
The digital entertainer is compatible with the following types of video and audio
cables:
Video cable and Audio cable:
These two cables are included, and are
compatible with most televisions in the U.S.
SCART:
This cable is often used in Europe and Australia, and is not

entertainer recognizes it, and you can continue to use these instructions.

Follow these steps to connect the digital entertainer.
1.
