Command Line Interface Reference for the ProSafe 7300S Series Layer-3 Stackable Switches, Network Address Is a valid network address identifying the network on the specified interface. Subnet Mask Protocol Is a mask of the network and host portion of the IP address for the attached network. Tells which protocol added the specified route. The possibilities are: local, static, OSPF or RIP. The following information displays for each Next Hop. Next Hop Interface The outgoing router interface to use when forwarding traffic to the next destination. Next Hop IP Address Metric Preference The outgoing router IP address to use when forwarding traffic to the next router (if any) in the path toward the destination. Route preferences are used in determining the best route. Lower router preference values are preferred over higher router preference values.
