Command Line Interface Reference for the ProSafe 7300S Series Layer-3 Stackable Switches, 18.5.5 script validate This command validates a script file by parsing each line in the script file where is the name of the script to validate.The validate option is intended to be used as a tool for script development. Validation identifies potential problems. It might not identify all problems with a given script on any given device. Format script validate Mode Global Config 18.6 Packet Capture Packet capture commands assist in troubleshooting protocol-related problems with the management CPU. The packets to and from the management CPU can be captured in an internally allocated buffer area for export to a PC host for protocol analysis. Public domain packet analysis tools like Ethereal can be used to decode and review the packets in detail. Capturing can be performed in a variety of modes, either transmit-side only, receive-side only, or both. The number of packets captured will depend on the size of the captured packets. 18.6.1 capture transmit packet This command enables the capturing of transmit packets.
