Autofocus mode Set how the camera focuses when shooting still images. Rotate the mode dial to , , , , or mode button button Autofocus Option Description Single AF The camera focuses only when the shutter-release button is pressed halfway. Full-time AF The camera always focuses even if the shutter-release button is not (default setting) pressed halfway. The sound of lens drive movement is heard while the camera focuses. Notes about [Autofocus mode] • When the focus-mode selector is set to (manual focus), [Autofocus mode] cannot be set. • This function may not be available to use in combination with other functions.
