Protect (page 218) Raise the flash. When shooting in [Night portrait] or [Backlighting] (with [HDR] set to [Off]) scene mode, raise the built-in flash before shooting. Turn the camera off and then on again. An error occurred in lens operation. Do not apply excessive force on the lens. If you turn the camera off and then on again, lens operation will return to normal. The camera is on but does not respond.
