Option On Off (default setting) Description • Choose the focal length with the multi selector , and then press the button to set the check box to on [ ] or off. The following settings are available: [24 mm], [28 mm], [35 mm], [50 mm], [85 mm], [105 mm], [135 mm], [200 mm], [300 mm], [400 mm], [500 mm], [600 mm], [800 mm], [1000 mm], [1200 mm], [1400 mm], [1600 mm], [1800 mm], and [2000 mm]. • Default setting: On [ ] for all the check boxes • To finish setting, press the multi selector . • The zoom position set in the [Startup zoom position] is automatically set to on [ ]. • The zoom memory function cannot be used with the side zoom control. The zoom position can be moved to any position, including the positions that can be set with [On]. Notes about zoom operation • When more than one focal length has been set, move the zoom control to switch to the focal length closest to that before the operation. To switch to a different focal length, release the zoom control and then move it again. • Set [Zoom memory] to [Off] when using the digital zoom. Startup zoom position Set the zoom position (equivalent to focal length/angle of view in 35mm [135] format) for when the camera is turned on.
