The Movie Menu Autofocus Mode On the shooting screen M d button M D tab M Autofocus mode Select the autofocus method used when recording movies. Option A Single AF (default setting) B Full-time AF Description Focus is locked when the b (e movie-record) button is pressed to start recording. Select this option when the distance between the camera and the subject will remain fairly consistent. Camera focuses continuously during movie recording. Select this option when the distance between the camera and subject will change significantly during recording. To prevent sound of camera focusing from interfering with recording, use of Single AF is recommended. Wind Noise Reduction On the shooting screen M d button M D tab M Wind noise reduction Select whether wind noise is reduced when recording movies. Option Description Y On k Off (default setting) Records while minimizing the noise of wind blowing on the microphone. Suitable for recording in strong winds. During playback, not only wind noise, but other sounds may also become difficult to hear. Wind noise is not reduced. When the wind noise reduction setting is enabled, the current setting is displayed during shooting (A6). When Off is selected, an icon for the current setting is not displayed. Reference Section E48
