Smart Portrait Menu Options In smart portrait mode, the following options can be changed. On the smart portrait mode shooting screen M d button Smart portrait Image mode Skin softening Smile timer Blink proof Shooting Features Option Image mode Skin softening Smile timer Blink proof Description A Allows you to select the combination of image size and image quality used when saving images. If you change the image mode setting, the new setting is applied to all 60 shooting modes. Allows you to set the skin softening effect. The camera softens facial skin tones by applying the skin softening function before saving images. You can select the amount of effect that is applied. The default setting is Normal. E34 When On (default setting) is selected, the camera detects human faces and then automatically releases the shutter whenever a smile is detected. The self-timer cannot be used with this feature. E34 When On is selected, the camera automatically releases the shutter twice each time a picture is taken. Of the two shots, one in which the subject's eyes are open is saved. Flash cannot be used when On is selected. The default setting is Off. E35 C Functions That Cannot Be Used Simultaneously There are functions with which this setting cannot be enabled.
