The Movie Menu Autofocus Mode Enter shooting mode M d button M e tab M Autofocus mode Select how the camera focuses in movie mode. Option A Single AF (default setting) B Full-time AF Description Focus is locked when the b (e movie-record) button is pressed to start recording. Select this option when the distance between the camera and the subject will remain fairly consistent. Camera focuses continuously. Select this option when the distance between the camera and subject will change significantly during recording. The sound of the camera focusing may be heard in the recorded movie. Use of Single AF is recommended to prevent the sound of the camera focusing from interfering with recording. Wind Noise Reduction Enter shooting mode M d button M e tab M Wind noise reduction Allows you to reduce wind noise during movie recording. Option Y On k Off (default setting) Description Reduces the sound heard when wind passes over the microphone. Use when recording movies in locations with strong winds. Other sounds may become difficult to hear during playback. Wind noise reduction is not enabled. The current wind noise reduction setting is indicated by an icon when shooting (A 6).
