Options Available in the Smart Portrait Menu When using F smart portrait mode, the following settings can be changed. Select smart portrait mode M d button M F tab (A 10) Smart portrait Image mode Skin softening Smile timer Blink proof Shooting Features Option Image mode Skin softening Description A Allows you to select the combination of image size and image quality used when saving images (A 63). If you change the image mode setting, the new setting is applied 63 to all shooting modes. Enable skin softening. The camera softens skin tones by applying the skin softening function before saving images. You can select the amount of effect that is applied. The default setting is Normal. E38 Smile timer When On (default setting) is selected, the camera detects human faces and then automatically releases the shutter whenever a smile is detected. Self-timer cannot be used with this feature. E38 Blink proof When On is selected, the camera automatically releases the shutter twice each time a picture is taken. Of the two shots, one in which the subject's eyes are open is saved. The flash cannot be used when On is selected. The default setting is Off.
