e2: Flash Shutter Speed G button ➜ A (Custom Settings menu) Choose the slowest shutter speed available when front- or rearcurtain sync or red-eye reduction is used in mode P or A (regardless of the setting chosen, shutter speeds can be as slow as 30 s in modes S and M or at flash settings of slow sync, slow rear-curtain sync, or red-eye reduction with slow sync). e3: Exposure Comp. for Flash G button ➜ A (Custom Settings menu) Choose how the camera adjusts flash level when exposure compensation is used. Option Description YE Entire frame Both flash level and exposure compensation are adjusted to modify exposure over the entire frame. E Background only Exposure compensation applies to background only. e4: Auto c ISO Sensitivity Control G button ➜ A (Custom Settings menu) Choose how the camera adjusts flash level when auto ISO sensitivity control is enabled. Option Description e Subject and background The camera takes both the main subject and background lighting into account when adjusting ISO sensitivity. f Subject only ISO sensitivity is adjusted only to ensure that the main subject is correctly exposed.
