Format Memory Card G button ➜ B (setup menu) Select Yes to format the memory card. Note that formatting permanently deletes all pictures and other data on the card. Before formatting, be sure to make backup copies as required. D During Formatting Do not turn the camera off or remove memory cards during formatting. Save User Settings G button ➜ B (setup menu) Frequently-used combinations of settings can be assigned to the U1 and U2 positions on the mode dial (0 82). Reset User Settings G button ➜ B (setup menu) Reset settings for U1 and U2 to default values (0 83). Language G button ➜ B (setup menu) Choose a language for camera menus and messages.
