Red-Eye Correction G button ➜ N (retouch menu) This option is used to correct "red-eye" and is available only with photographs taken using a flash. The photograph selected for red-eye correction can be previewed in the edit display. Confirm the effects of red-eye correction and press J to create a copy. Note that red-eye correction may not always produce the expected results and may in very rare circumstances be applied to portions of the image that are not affected by red-eye; check the preview thoroughly before proceeding. Straighten G button ➜ N (retouch menu) Create a straightened copy of the selected image. Press 2 to rotate the image clockwise by up to five degrees in increments of approximately 0.25 degrees, 4 to rotate it counter-clockwise (the effect can be previewed in the edit display; note that edges of the image will be trimmed to create a square copy). Press J to save the retouched copy. Menu Guide > N The Retouch Menu 337
