■ Charge the battery Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the battery. Charging the BL-4CT battery with the AC-4 charger takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes while the phone is in the standby mode. 1. Connect the charger to a wall socket. 2. Connect the lead from the charger to the charger connector on the side of your phone. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display or before any calls can be made. ■ Open and close the phone To open the fold, press the open fold key (1). The fold swings open (2) to about 161 degrees. Do not try to force the fold open more. Close the fold manually. When the phone is switched off, or the battery charge is low, open the fold manually. Keep the magnet and anchor plate clean for the open fold key to function properly. ■ Switch the phone on and off 1. Press and hold the power key. 2. If the phone asks for a PIN or a UPIN code, enter the code (displayed as ****), and select OK. When you switch on your phone for the first time, and the phone is in the standby mode, you are asked to get the configuration settings from your service provider (network service). ■
Charge the battery
Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the battery.
Charging the BL-4CT battery with the AC-4 charger takes about 1 hour and 30
minutes while the phone is in the standby mode.

Connect the lead from the charger to the charger
