About display indicators Display indicators and icons inform you about the operation of your phone. Most essential indicators and icons related to various phone functions are explained later in this user's guide. Standby mode The following three indicators are shown when the phone is in the standby mode, that is, when the phone is ready for use and no characters have been entered by the user. This screen is also called the standby display. XXXXXXX Indicates in which cellular network the phone is currently being used. and bar Shows the signal strength of the cellular network at your current location. The higher the bar, the stronger the signal. and bar Shows the battery charge level. The higher the bar, the more power in the battery. List of essential indicators in the standby mode In addition to the above three indicators, one or more of the following icons may be shown when the phone is in the standby mode: Indicates that you have one or more unread text messages. When the icon is blinking, the message memory of your phone is full. Indicates that the phone's ringing tone is set off and the phone doesn't ring at an incoming call.
