10. Set the Paper Thickness lever to match the paper being used. NOTE: Make sure that the guide is pushed to the end of the printhead. . Move the printhead horizontally to make sure that the ribbon is properly installed. . Turn the take‑up knob in the direction of the arrow to take up any ribbon slack. CAUTION! Do not turn the knob counterclockwise as the ribbon may jam. Make sure that the ribbon is not twisted or damaged when it goes through the gap between the printhead and the ribbon guide. 11. Close the access cover and turn the printer back
on.
