SOUND SETTINGS Setting the sounds output from the camera You can make the following settings with [SOUND SETTINGS]. • Setting the type of button operation sounds and volume. (BEEP) • Selecting the sound and volume of the shutter button. (SHUTTER SOUND) • Adjusting the volume of the camera warning sound. (8) • Adjusting the volume during playback. (q VOLUME) BEEP SOUND TYPE 1 /2 VOLUME OFF (No sound) / LOW / HIGH SHUTTER SOUND SOUND TYPE 1 /2 /3 8 q VOLUME VOLUME OFF (No sound) / LOW / HIGH OFF (No sound) / LOW / HIGH • Press 1 2 on the arrow pad to adjust the volume. • You can select [OFF] or adjust in 5 steps from 1 to 5. • You can set all the sounds muted at once by setting [SILENT MODE]. g "SILENT MODE Setting to turn off operational sounds" (P. 45) REC VIEW Viewing pictures immediately OFF ON The picture being recorded is not displayed. This is useful when you want to prepare for your next shot while the previous picture is being recorded. The picture being recorded is displayed. You can resume shooting while the picture is still being displayed. • Select [ON] to set whether to display the image on the monitor or viewfinder during recording. LCD ONLY Pictures that are being recorded will always be displayed on the monitor. CURRENT Pictures that are being recorded will be displayed on the viewfinder when the viewfinder is used and on the monitor when the monitor is used.
