Aim the remote control at the camera, and press the button. The shutter will be released about 3 seconds after the beep. Note: Use Selftimer outside the above range. Important: After the shot(s), be sure to press the /REMOTE button again to cancel the Selftimer/Remote Control mode. Notes on the Remote Control: The remote control may not work when there is backlighting and when autofocusing is difficult.(See p. 47.) The shutter will not release using the remote control when the remote control's battery is exhausted. CAUTIONS: Keep the remote control out of the reach of children. In case it is swallowed, immediately consult a physician. Keep the remote control away from fire and extreme heat. Never try to disassemble it. 44
