Remote controller TV and cable TV controls: You can use the following buttons when the Device select switch is set to TV or CABLE. PWR button Turns on and off the power. T button (for TV) Toggles between the VCR and TV screens. SET button Allows you to start programming the video device codes of other brands in order to operate them using this remote controller. Enter button Allows you to enter other brands' video device codes into this remote controller. CH +/- buttons Allow you to select a channel. 0 c> O Number buttons (0, 1-9) and +10 button Function as number keys for selecting a channel. Never connect it to the gray or green connector with the 1TR mark. • An RI remote control cable equipped with a 3.5mm (1/8 in.)-diameter miniature two-conductor phone plug comes with every compact disc player or cassette tape deck that has an RI connector. • Remote control operation is not possible when only the remote control cable is connected - the audio connection cables must also be connected. • This receiver's remote controller cannot be used to control Onkyo turntables.
