4.5.1 Sensor features (overview) Note • When [Trigger when Home Wi-Fi Connects] is selected, the app checks your mobile device's Wi-Fi connection periodically so that it can detect when it has connected to your home wireless network again. From the [Home Network] app home screen, tap [Smart Control]. • A summary of all smart control programs is displayed. 2. Select the device that you want to control. 3. Turn the [Schedule] and [Triggered by Sensor] checkboxes off as desired, and then tap [OK]. 4.5 Sensor features 4.5.1 Sensor features (overview) The system supports a wide range of sensors. Some sensors are standalone devices and others are integrated into other devices. The following tables describe each sensor, how they function, what features they can be used with, and which alarm modes they are active during. Standalone sensors Description Function Uses Window sensor or door sensor*1 (KX-HNS101) Motion sensor (KX-HNS102) Uses a magnet to detect when the window or door is opened Uses infrared light to detect heat - Alarm system*2 - Smart control - Alarm system*2 - Smart control *1 Whether the sensor operates as a window sensor or door sensor depends on the sensor's [Installation Type] setting.
