Making/Answering Calls Making calls Using the handset 1 Dial the phone number. L To correct a digit, press {Clear}. 2 Press {C} or {Call}. 3 When you finish talking, press {OFF} or place the handset on the base unit or charger. Note: L "Line in use" is displayed when someone is talking on the unit or another phone. Using the speakerphone 1 Dial the phone number, and press {s}. L Speak alternately with the other party. 2 When you finish talking, press {OFF}. Note: L Use the speakerphone in a quiet environment. L To switch to the receiver, press {C}. When storing a calling card access number and/or PIN in the phonebook, a pause is also needed (page 21).
