Voice Mailbox How VoiceMailbox callers can leave you private messages This unit has two mailbox memories. Your caller can leave a private message in a specific mailbox. Only the person who knows the password can retrieve a message from a mailbox. This feature is useful when you share this unit with other people. To use a mailbox 1 Record your own TAD/FAX greeting message (page 71). Suggested message:"This is (your name). We are unable to answer right now. To send a fax, start transmission. To leave a message, speak after the beep. To leave a private message, press * and the desired mailbox number 1 or 2. Thank you." 2 Record your own mailbox greeting message if necessary (page 80). Suggested message:"This is (personal name). Please leave your name and message after the beep." 3 Change the mailbox password if necessary. - For mailbox 1 password, see feature #51 (page 91). - For mailbox 2 password, see feature #52 (page 91). 4 Set the unit to TAD/FAX mode (page 64). How incoming messages are recorded in a mailbox 1 Call your unit from a remote touch tone telephone. L The TAD/FAX greeting message will be played. 2 Press {*} and the desired mailbox number ({1} or {2}). L A mailbox greeting message will be played. 3 After the beep, leave a message. To use a mailbox

Record your own TAD/FAX greeting
message (page 71).
Suggested message:
“This is (your name).
We are unable to answer right now. To
send a fax, start transmission. To leave a
message, speak after the beep. To leave a
private message, press

and the desired
mailbox number 1 or 2. Thank you.”

Record your own mailbox greeting
message if necessary (page 80).
Suggested message:
