Copying phonebook entries, Chain dial, Copying an entry

Chain dial This feature allows you to dial phone numbers in the phonebook while you are on a call. This feature can be used, for example, to dial a calling card access number or bank account PIN that you have stored in the phonebook, without having to dial manually. Base unit / Handset 1 Proceed with the operation for your unit. During an outside call: Base unit: M N Handset: MMENUN a MbN: "Phonebook" a MSELECTN 2 MbN: Select the desired entry. 3 Press MCALLN to dial the number. Note: R When storing a calling card access number and your PIN in the phonebook as one phonebook entry, press MPAUSEN to add pauses after the number and PIN as necessary (page 15). R If you have rotary/pulse service, you need to press * (TONE) before pressing M N on the base unit or MMENUN on the handset in step 1 to change the dialing mode temporarily to tone. When adding entries to the phonebook, we recommend adding * (TONE) to the beginning of phone numbers you wish to chain dial (page 23). Copying phonebook entries You can copy phonebook entries from the base unit to a handset or vice versa. Important: R Group ringer tones are not copied. R You cannot copy the phonebook entries between handsets. Phonebook 4 Enter the handset number to copy to. R When an entry has been copied, "Completed" is displayed. Chain dial
