AM loop antenna (included) • Run a piece of vinyl wire horizontally across a window or other convenient location. • Leave the loop antenna connected. Store in a cool, dark place. • Do not use rechargeable type batteries. • Do not heat or expose to flame. • Do not leave the battery(ies) in an automobile exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time with doors and windows closed. • Mishandling of batteries in the remote control can cause electrolyte leakage, which may cause a fire. Do not: • mix old and new batteries. • use different types of batteries at the same time. • take apart or short circuit; • attempt to recharge alkaline or manganese batteries. • use batteries if the covering has been peeled off. ■ Use Aim at the remote control sensor, avoiding obstacles, at a maximum range of 7 m (23 feet) directly in front of the unit. Refer to page 7 for the remote control sensor position. CAUTION Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions.
