Basic Operations Auto answer When you use the optional Personal Handsfree earpiece, you can answer a call automatically. To enable this service, Auto answer must be on. (See "Auto answer" on page 106.) Silent mode To use your phone in a quiet situation, you can activate the Silent mode. You can personalise the Silent mode setting. (See "Profiles" on page 94.) In standby mode: 1. Press and hold [r] to activate/deactivate the Silent mode Voicemail Voicemail is a network service which allows callers, who could not reach you, to leave voice messages. You may need to subscribe to this service through your service provider. For further details, see "Voicemail" on page 70. Retrieving stored voice messages When a new voice message is stored, an alert sounds and ( ) appears on the display and you receive an SMS notification. 1.
