v Connect a coaxial cable (not supplied) to the video output connector. VIDEO OUT Important: When connecting the coaxial cable to the video output connector, make sure that the connector of the coaxial cable is locked firmly. Connect the video output connector to the monitor or other system device with the coaxial cable. The maximum extensible length is shown in the table. Type of coaxial cable RG-59/U (3C-2V) RG-6/U (5C-2V) RG-11/U RG-15/U (7C-2V) (10C-2V) Recommended (m) 250 maximum cable length (ft) 825 500 1 650 600 1 980 800 2 640 b Connect the power cord between the camera and the power source. • 120 V AC 60Hz (WV-CP280) Connect the power cord to an electrical outlet of 120 V AC 60 Hz. • 12 V DC (WV-CP284) Use the formula below to calculate the power cord and power supply. The voltage supplied to the power terminals of the camera should be within 10.8 V DC and 16 V DC. 10.8 V DC ≤ VA − 2(R x I x L) ≤ 16 V DC L : Cable length (m) R : Resistance of copper wire (Ω/m) VA : DC output voltage of power supply unit I : DC current consumption (A).
